Hilco Redevelopment Partners completes the purchase of the decommissioned Crawford Generating Station and commences planning for remediation of the environmental conditions at the facility.
Hilco Redevelopment Partners completes a hazardous material survey and evaluation of site improvements required (Study includes details on Asbestos Containing Material “ACM”, lead based paint, coatings, oils/fuel, metals, wastewater, etc.).
Hilco Redevelopment Partners files National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) form with IL Department of Public Health/City of Chicago.
Hilco Redevelopment Partners retains several consultants to study the environmental, labor/economic impact, traffic, and development conditions at the site in preparation for redevelopment.
Hilco Redevelopment Partners conducts several meetings with Alderman Muñoz and other stakeholders in the community and with City of Chicago officials.
